Japan Fashion Presentation

The live presentation of Japan Fashion Week last week in

Soho NYC showed five designers and their innovative creations.

The models kept moving and replacing each other and showed new ensembles.

I was glad to get there early because thirty minutes after

I arrived the space was packed with people.

It was great to be able to take pictures, although

it was hard to see the names of the designers,

as they were listed as a group.

This was a great way to see various collections!

Re: Trias Fall 2010

Just now am catching up with some more fashion show pictures. Trias had a beautifully tailored and chic look with very feminine details and the hair perfectly complemented the silhouettes!

Very elegant mixing of yellows and pinks with black and white,
for a more cheerful yet sophisticated fall 2010.
I really liked his menswear with pleated ruffs at the waist white shirt insets and white gloves.

A really great mix of both women's and men's styles!

Douglas Hannant Fall 2010

Interesting background, reminiscent of the 80's...

Abed Mahfouz-Fall 2010

Went to see the Abed Mahfouz show and I loved all the

draped sleeves, dresses and the gorgeous draped pant below.

After these colors went down the runway,

the lights were turned down and glow in the dark lace dresses

were shown with glow in the dark shoes.

Wish I had pictures but all the glow in the dark colors

just turned white with the flash.

Very pretty and very futuristic!

Chado ralph rucci

The day after the big snow storm, the streets were still slippery

in heels on my way to the Chado ralph rucci show

It took place in his showroom this season and

I sat next to Cheryl Maday and PJ.

The clothes were so gorgeous and innovative-

such impeccable craftsmanship, construction and attention

to detail, the tiniest of hems on chiffon, it was just like

watching a ballet of fashion, where everything seems

fluid and effortless.

I was inspired by all the gorgeous seaming details with jolts

of color woven with sheer layers and textures and loved the

wrapped hands of the models. I was just mesmerized

by the number of dresses Ralph designed-54 incredible pieces!

A masterpiece fashion show!
