Win a free pair of boots

It's time for boots! I love high heeled boots but have to be careful how to wear them. It's also hard to run around in heels in NYC, so for day I prefer flat boots.

Here's a chance to win a free pair of Ugg boots-

T-shirt Contest

My entry for the Michael Stars T-shirt contest.
I took a picture of the fish and star fish at a dock
on the island of Culebra, Puerto Rico and I collaged and
photoshopped the image until it fit the guidelines.

Michael Stars has partnered with The Surfrider Foundation
for this contest by donating a portion of all sales from this charity tee.

The Surfrider Foundation is a non-profit grassroots organization
that is dedicated to the protection of the worlds oceans, waves and
beaches through conservation, activism, research and education.

Fall 2009

Had an amazing photo shoot today
on my roof and in the garden.
Margerita is from a town near Russia
and she is such an amazing model!
Kingsley the photographer will have even better
shots but I am so happy with my snapshots.
No photoshop here...

And on another note- here are my suggestions
on what to pack when planning a trip to NYC.

Fashion Week Spring 2010 -Gottex

These guys made their own outfits and they are amazing!
Saw them after the show at the Bryant Park tents.
I love the camera, the colors, the fashionable FF glasses, so adorable,
and so cool- I wish I knew their names!

The front row-

Fashion Week Spring 2010 -Douglas Hannant

The Douglas Hannant collection was displayed
at the Terrace Room at The Plaza.
The mannequins looked like Grecian goddesses.
I was the stylist on the recent photo shoot for The Plaza
and it was great to see the designer's latest work.
Makes me wish for spring!

Fashion Week Spring 2010 -Petrou/Man

This is Petrou/Man's first menswear line and
the craftmanship and mix of materials was
really amazing. Each piece was so unique.
Very inspiring!

Fashion Week Spring 2010-Chado Ralph Rucci

This show was incredibly elegant and chic.
The clothes were gorgeous and the presentation was stunning.

I loved how at the end all the models stood and turned together,
giving the audience an extra moment to admire the clothes.

On the way home waiting for the F train,
I asked one of the models if I could take her picture-

I love the shiny chignon!

Saratoga

We went to the races in Saratoga, New York with a group
from my school, Parsons, and it was a great time,
perfect weather, incredibly beautiful horses and it was
really exciting watching the races-the horses were flying
and I loved the jockey's outfits.

Roxy Paine

I love the Metropolitan Museum of Art and today I was lucky enough
to be on the roof garden.
Roxy Paine's sculptures are extraordinarily
beautiful and I found them very inspiring.

The tree like sculpture fits in so well with the green of Central Park
and I have some new
ideas percolating for some new designs.
