The charming and dapper Robert led us through the exhibit and he had an extensive recall and knowledge of the history of illustration and the artists their nuances and their achievements.
Robert's illustration of Patrick McDonaldRobert mentioned that here Patrick is wearing Night and Day cuff links, commissioned by Linda Porter, for Cole Porter. They were a present to Cole upon the release of his song "Night and Day".
Robert also told me that one of my favorite illustrators Antonio Lopez was colorblind and his partner Juan did all the coloring. I was so happy to catch the show-today was the last day!
